Feasibility study in the 3D Minerals pilot plant

For technological validation, 3D Minerals offers feasibility studies in its FabLab using its various SDM 3D printing machines for prototypes.

3D Minerals can therefore offer (in accordance with the confidentiality agreement requested by the customer):

• Printing of a desired slip (specified by the client and/or developed by 3D Minerals according to specifications) with a custom-developed additive.
• 3D printing of ceramic parts according to the client's specifications.
• Modification and technical validation of components on standard S.D.M 3D Minerals ceramic printers (extrusion head, raw material feed pumps, machine casing, etc.).
• Study and validation of the addition of specific modules to a standard S.D.M 3D Minerals ceramic printer:
• Automatic smoothing/finishing/machining system (during or after printing).
  • Double extrusion head.
  • Addition of a weighing scale under the 3D printing support to monitor the weight of the part during and after manufacture.
  • Etc.
